I've had the privilege of spending the last three decades immersed in a creative career. My love affair with creativity and botanicals began when I started my first business, Pottery by Nan, in 1988 making French-inspired ceramic urns and pots with my own vintage finishes, which I still use as props in my photos.

Simply French was founded in 2003, and in 2015, I discovered Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. This discovery led me to reinvent my shop in 2016, allowing me to paint every day after the heartbreaking loss of my son Marc. Painting became a way for me to cope with my grief, and every piece I create is a tribute to Marc's memory. I'm proud that my work not only reflects my love but also promotes sustainability by up-cycling pre-loved furniture and giving new life to each piece.

My vision is to build a community where we can share, learn, discover, and inspire each other. As I look to the future, I am committed to living a happy, grateful, and creative life, and I invite you to join me on this journey.
